June 2008
It's been a very long time since I've done any updated blog posts on here. The main reason was our home computer finally died one day. We had been planning to purchase a new one for some time now and the stimulus check came just in time! So we now have a MacMini. Yes, Jeremy has converted me to Mac. It's been great. I love it. It's so easy to use. And we have a really cool set up with a cordless keyboard and mouse and for now we're using our big TV for our monitor which is more than cool. Not many of you can say you have a 47" monitor, right?? :)
So our family has a lot of pictures to share with you! From late April until now! What have we been up to? Jeremy has joined a church softball league. He spent a week in Colorado at Focus on the Family. I had my 29th birthday. We both got strep throat. We made two trips to Cincinnati. We've had some family visit here.
Johnathan is loving this summer weather. We go outside as much as possible. He's been enjoying his little pool again. I thought maybe he'd outgrown it, but not yet. He's not a fan of wearing sandals. It's 90 degrees out and he wants to wear socks and shoes! He's really into fire trucks right now. Loves to go on "ventures" with Mommy. (Adventures) This could include anything from stopping at a garage sale to getting the mail to going to good old Walmart. He's beginning to show some interest in the potty and actually have some huge successes with this just this week. Maybe I won't have two in diapers for too much longer??
Joshua had his four month appointment and weighed in at 18lb, 4 0z (Johnathan was only 16 lb at this age.) So we thought Johnathan was a big baby! So far Josh had been bigger. Now at 5 and a half months, he's got to be almost 20lbs! He's a chunk, but is quite content with being that fat and happy. He's getting very strong. He's trying to sit himself up at times. He's doing great with the tripod sit. He can sit in his exersaucer for extended periods of time. He's grabbing at everything now. His favorite toys are the link-a-doo rings and this satiny blanket turtle rattle thingy and the chikfila cows. He continues to be ridiculously happy at almost all times. He's a joy. A wonderful baby.
Now, enjoy the pix. We'd love it if you'd leave us a comment or email us. We'd love to hear from you!

Joshua is really starting to look like his mommy! I feel like my little Sweet Pea is a bit of a shrimp compared to him...she will be 5 months old next week and she only weighs 13 pounds...
Beautiful pictures! Glad all is well with your family. 18 pounds at 4 months! Mine were 9 pounds at birth, but didn't hit 20 pounds until they were 2 1/2. You alll remain in my prayers!
A MacMini? I'm jealous! Your family photos are beautiful. :)
