A New Tradition - Stockings!

My sister-in-laws worked together on making our family some homemade stockings. Amy did the sewing, Lori the embroidering. What a wonderful, meaningful gift! We've enjoyed them as decorations the last few weeks and enjoyed seeing what "Santa" put in them for Christmas morning!

We also recently took out the brass surround that was in the opening of the fireplace. It had glass doors with a mesh curtain on the inside. You know the type. Well, once we took it out it seemed to double in size. We bought this fire screen (Merry Christmas, Jeremy!) and boy, have we been enjoying our fireplace like never before!



Time to open the stockings!
