Joshua's First Haircut

Jeremy always knew that we could end up with a red head (from my side of the family) and yet, we sure were surprised when we did! We get comments on Joshua's red hair EVERYWHERE we go! It was time for him to get more than a trim and I knew that if I tried to do it myself I would inevitably end up reaching for the clippers and buzzing it all off like Johnathan and Jeremy's! So we decided to take him to my salon and get a real hair cut. Just your classic little boy haircut.

Have you ever tried to chase a 20 month old boy around to get a "before" picture of his hair? Near impossible I tell you! Here's my attempt as I was chasing him down in the post office that morning!



Here it the most classic "What did you just do to me?" picture! I held him on my lap for the haircut, but just had to get a shot of him in the chair. The hair dresser gave us a certificate and a clip of his hair for the baby book. I think I'll have to include a print of this picture in there to.



He did really well for the haircut. I think that there was enough going on around him and she worked so fast that this is definitely the way to go for now while he's so little.

He was happy about the lollipop afterwards! Here are the "after" shots. Looks great.
