Summer 2009 Photos

Whew! I can't believe that it's been two months since I've added to the family blog! Shame on me! I'm going to try to get caught up so you all can catch up on our family life.

Here's just a cute picture of Joshua saying "cheese!" and maybe even "Did you miss me? I'm back!"

Here's Joshua after he enjoyed a few chocolate chips during family movie night.

Johnathan's french fry costume. It's amazing how much fun you can have with a box!

Jeremy has been taking Johnathan to Lowe's Build & Grow workshops. Twice a month they have a project planned on a Saturday morning. The first time you go they give you a Lowe's apron and goggles and then after each project they give you a patch to sew on the apron. So far Johnathan has built this helicopter and also a boat. Home Depot does a similar thing, but just once a month, and you also get an apron and a pin to attach for each project. He made a message board thing that's half dry erase board and half bulletin board. He loves them! It's a great father/son activity to do 3 times a month. And did I mention the best thing of all? IT'S FREE!!!

Jeremy played church softball this spring/summer with Bible Center Church. The boys and I got to attend one of his last games and after it we all shared a milkshake in the back of the van!

My boys and I at Sam's club.

Johnathan's been working on learning to ride a bike this summer. Can't say that we've mastered it quite yet, mostly because we haven't had many opportunities to try! If you live in this area or have ever been to WV you know what I mean! We have NO flat ground. Anywhere. Seriously. So what do we do? We ride around in our garage some (pictured here) and then sometimes we throw in both bikes, the wagon, the push mower, etc in the van and drive somewhere that is flat and practice and play! (Love the bandaids on both knees in this picture!)
