The Pirate Ship Cake

I enjoyed making this pirate ship cake. I baked two round cakes, cut them in half, put all four halves together to make the bottom of the boat. The sails are card stock on bamboo skewers. The candy accents are rolos for gold, whoppers for cannon balls and oreo stix for the edges. The toys that went with the pirate ship that we gave him as a gift really added a lot too. His exclamation when he saw it says it all "WOW! That is the coolest cake ever, Mom!"
