Johnathan Is Four!
Four years ago Johnathan, his name chosen for its meaning, our "gracious gift" was born into our family. That day changed our lives forever. I will never forget that day as long as I live. It was the day I became a mom. It was the day I began living for a whole different purpose. These past four years have been the best days of our lives by far! Johnathan has grown into a curious, talkative, active little boy. We love him immensely and thank the Lord every day for the responsibility to teach and train him.
I've posted about the treasure hunt and the cake, now let's get to the good stuff. Opening presents and eating the cake!!
Here's all the loot and our favorite four year old pirate!

Opening the big present from us, the pirate ship toy.

Another gift. Thanks to all the family that sent gifts. Johnathan received some great new toys, books, and clothing. Thanks so much!

Family picture just before cake time.
(Josh wouldn't leave his eye patch on. Nor would Johnathan who was getting tired of wearing his by now.) Thanks to Grandma for taking the picture. It's not easy to take a picture with an eye patch on!

Singing "Happy Birthday" to Johnathan!

Blowing out the candles.

Still blowing out the candles - 2 on each side of the cake!

Whew! All done! Officially Four!

Grandma and Johnathan playing with his new legos.

Johnathan's dinosaur museum that he made with his new birthday gifts.
