A Week Of Firsts
A trip away from home always allows for new experiences. I always think when I return from a trip that my children have made giant leaps in their development because of this. This trip had many firsts for Johnathan.
First time using chopsticks. We were at Noodles & Co. Okay, so mac n cheese isn't exactly Chinese food, but he had fun with the chopsticks nevertheless.

First time at a splash park. That's him in the red shirt, beige shorts.

Besides all the animals at the zoo, this zoo had a bunch of extras.
Johnathan's first pony ride - or should I say his first pony ride he actually enjoyed! (He tried this once before about a year ago, but he felt like he was falling off so he was terrified. Don't know why they thought children could ride bare back??) This was a beautiful Norwegian Fjord Pony.

Johnathan's first carousel ride.

Johnathan's first roller coaster ride. Thanks Aunt Aubrey for riding with him! (They are in the second cart back.)

In this picture he's pointing straight out at me, which makes it hard to see his face!
