Joshua Turns One!

On January 8, 2009 our little Joshua turned one years old. We had a small party for him at home with Grandma and Grandpa Dys who were able to travel up to be here. Our happy little boy had a wonderful time at his first birthday party.

We were surprised that he didn't mind the party hat on bit!

Looks like Grandpa is making faces to get Joshua to smile for this one. It worked!

"Hey guys! This birthday party thing is great!"

Our 12 month old weighed in at a whopping 26lb, 20z (97th percentile) and also measured 32 inches tall (95th) at his check up this week.

Our party room. Johnathan helped to make the construction paper and pipe cleaner snowflakes. Also, check out our new kitchen table chairs.

Thank you to all the rest of the family that arranged to have a gift here for Joshua's birthday. We are so blessed with such a loving family. He has had a blast playing with all of his new toys. (Johnathan has too!) Thanks so much to all of you for making it a special day for him. We thank God each day for the blessings of this healthy, happy child as part of our little family! We love you Joshua!!!
