Our Family Christmas Celebration
Last Saturday we had our little family's Christmas together. Seems a little early, I know, but we are leaving for Florida to spend Christmas with Jeremy's family! One of our gifts to each other as a family was a year long membership to the Clay Center here in Charleston. It's like a children's museum plus more. We had our party in the morning and then in the afternoon we went and enjoyed the Clay Center.

Here's Johnathan doing a science experiment at a presentation called The Science of Winter. Here he's learning about how salt melts snow.

They had a special "Trains and Trees" exhibit that we enjoyed.

JP opening one of his much anticipated gifts: a view finder and binoculars all in one!

Transformers - robots that turn into bugs.

Yeah! New toys!

Back at the Clay Center (one of these days I learn how to get these into a better order!). This is Johnathan's look of concentration as he's watching this model train. When he's studying something he stands real still and straight with his arms at his sides, head slightly to one side.

Daddy and JP doing some kind of microphone thing that alters your voice into the headphones. We had such a blast and look forward to going often in the coming year. Want to join us? :)

In Johnathan's stocking was a Santa hat. . .

And in Joshua's were reindeer antlers!

Christmas breakfast.

Reading the Christmas story.

Joshua's first Christmas present. I think he'd rather eat the paper!

What a great little guy! Happy belated birthday!
Gideon's birthday is Jan. 8, too. Turned five this year, so we went with a 'Cars' cake. Pictures to appear on Roz's blog soon.
