Dys Dys Baby: Elise from Norway Visits the Dys'

When I was a junior in high school I met Elise, an exchange student from Norway. We became instant friends and when her host family situation went from bad to worse, she planned to go home early that year - until my family took her in. My family still maintains a special friendship with Elise 12 years later! She has been back the the states to visit us 5 times in those dozen years. We were blessed that she flew from Oslo to us in Charleston for Christmas this year. We had a day with her before the rest of the family came. We took her to a Festival of Lights.
