Your team hasn't beaten any elite athletes, because your team doesn't play elite athletes. The reason you score 40 ppg is because you play teams who are on the same level as the Taylor Trojans, while we play teams by the name of the USC Trojans.
And by the way, the only thing that might be sadder than my "blind" love and devotion to one of the greatest college football programs in the nation, is your whinning over your Mounties not getting their props in the NCAA. That is sad.
ND has been my team since I was 5 years old. You, on the other hand, have been on to your WVU bandwagon, ever since you got down there. Sure, they've had some good seasons the past few years. Now all of a sudden, you're down there stumping for these guys, calling out "fowl" and "injustice" for a team you conviently have taken on as your team. Well, as much as I understand your ways, I ain't buying it. That's right, I used the word "ain't", because it's as laughable as your argument.
You want a break. I'll give you one, plus your props when your guys start playing some real teams. Your "logic" and excuses about your "tough" schedule won't sway me. I get your opinion about the acedmey teams, as well as a few others like Stanford and NC. I don't think we should play them anymore either. And neither does Weis. Hopefully things will start to change. But this year, we beat them.
Currently we are #5. Beaten only by the CURRENT #2 team in the nation. In two weeks we play the CURRENT #3 team and will hopefully have a shot at a top 5 team come January.
I'd nowlike to say that I also hope we get a shot at your guys at that time. But, I don't see you beating the Cinderella Scarlet Knights. So, say goodbye to the Top 10 and whatever dreams you have at a BCS bowl.
I assume you'll be routing for Southern Cal to beat us, so that maybe (fingers crossed) you'll get your shot and become big news for 15 minutes.
