Six Months

You know you're a little bit of an insensitive father (or perhaps just overly dedicated to this blog) when you come in to wake up the boy, laugh at what you find, leave to get the camera, and then share the results with all of you (what does that say about you?!)!! Seriously, this is how I found him; no tricks, no mirrors, no airbrushing. Just a cutie with a sticky cheek!

Well, Johnathan is now 6 months old (can you believe it?!). And he celebrated this birthday by catching a cold - a good nasty one!! Thankfully, he's coming out of it. But, it was ill-timed considering his worst day with the cold was also the day he had three more of his immunizations!

But, he is now 16lbs. 12 ounces (up 12 ounces from 4 months), 28 inches long (up from 26), and his head grew to 17 1/2 inches (up from 16 1/2). So, he's growing in every direction!!

In addition to the growth and excessive mucous production, Johnathan has also begun to eat more rice cereal and has even added orange vegetables to his dietary repetoire!!

But, most of all, he's our precious man!! Even when sick, he's still quite content! Enjoy!
